Privacy Statement FHR Event Management
FHR Event Management is engaged in project & exhibition management and is registered at Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
This privacy statement is applicable to the processing of personal data by FHR Event Management. FHR Event Management attaches great importance to safeguarding your right to privacy. Your personal data is processed by FHR Event Management in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Dutch Telecommunications Act. The following topics will be dealt with in this statement:
1. What personal data do we process and what is the goal?
We collect a limited amount of information from you, and we do that for various purposes.
The following personal data is collected:
- Name and ;Address;
- Email address;
- Telephone number;
- Banking details, including bank account number and credit card number;
- Date of birth;
We might need to collect further information from you in order to process the agreement and payment conditions between FHR Event Management and your company which would include transaction (financial account information, purchases, delivery details, and any type of communications you have with us), legal (payment card refusals, and information or copies of documents you provide where the law requires you to prove your identity) and voluntary information (feedback, complaints, and survey responses).
Processing your name, address, email address, telephone number, banking information and date of birth is required to make offers, as well as to deliver and invoice the products and services agreed on.
We send out a newsletter periodically. You can sign up for this. When you sign up for our newsletter, we receive your name, address, email address and possibly your date of birth. If you have agreed to receive our newsletter, we will use your email address to send you our newsletter, which contains information about our organization, services, promotions and news regarding our events. In order to send you a newsletter with relevant content, it could be that we have had access to your online reading, surfing and purchasing behavior on our own website(s), plus other online communications, so that we can gear the content of the newsletter accordingly. Every newsletter or promotion offers you the possibility to opt-out, which means that, once you have selected this option, you will no longer receive any further offers from FHR Event Management.
You have the option of contacting us by email or telephone, for example by getting in touch with customer service. In order to deal with your questions, complaints or other matters, and to access your history should subsequent issues emerge, we process your questions, complaints or other matters in our system. We will remove sensitive personal data (health, race, etc.), from questions, complaints and other matters where possible.
2. What do we do with your data?
We only use the personal data provided for the purposes described above. FHR Event Management will share your financial information – for example, credit card or banking details – which you provided when you selected your payment method, with our third party, who takes care of payments. Our third party is also bound by our privacy terms and conditions and the laws and regulations of the Netherlands.
Your data may also be made available to a third party so that this third party can send out the newsletter on behalf of FHR Event Management. However, this only occurs with your prior consent. If you no longer wish this data to be made available by FHR Event Management to selected third parties for the purpose of offering you information or promotions, you may cancel (“opt-out”) at any time.
3. What opportunity do I have to restrict or prevent the processing of my data?
At reasonable intervals you may ask us to see all personal data FHR Event Management has concerning you. You may request that we rectify, supplement, amend, block, transfer or erase this personal data. In order to do this, please contact [name] in writing or by email. FHR Event Management will respond to your request within four weeks. If your information will be used for direct marketing purposes, then you may lodge an objection in this regard, after which your personal data will no longer be used for such purposes. If you have signed up to receive the newsletter, you can unsubscribe at any time. This is possible using the unsubscribe link at the end of every newsletter.
4. Cookies
FHR Event Management uses cookies to collect client information for the purpose of directed communications, including offering information about services and directed marketing activities for events organized by FHR Event Management and possibly also by third parties selected by FHR Event Management. You are entitled to block cookies at any time. You can set your browser’s preferences to block all cookies or only certain ones. However, if you block cookies certain services may not be available to you or the website may not function optimally.

General website visitor data is retained on FHR Event Management’s websites – without identifying who the visitors are – for the purpose of optimizing the functioning of the website. This data may also be used to post information on the website that is better targeted at website visitors.

On FHR Event Management’s website you will find hyperlinks to other websites. FHR Event Management bears no responsibility regarding how the parties who own these websites deal with your data.
7. Retention period
When the personal data is no longer needed for processing, it will be deleted unless we are legally required to retain your data. In that case, your data will be retained for the statutory retention period.
8. Security of personal data and systems
FHR Event Management has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard users’ personal data in the form of industry standard infrastructure security, the implementation of Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology for payment transactions, digital certificates, and password protection for all web applications that contain personal information to prevent leaks or unlawful processing.
